Terms of Use

1. About Groupped

Groupped is a private local group-buying platform that helps users form trusted groups, create threshold-based orders, and coordinate local pickup from suppliers.

In most cases, Groupped operates as a platform connecting buyers, group admins, suppliers, and other users. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Groupped is not the manufacturer of goods, not the original producer of listed items, and not the physical carrier or delivery provider for supplier goods.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Groupped, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

3. User responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account details secure, and use the platform lawfully and in good faith. You are responsible for your group activity, listings, payments, communications, and use of supplier or buyer information.

Suppliers are responsible for the legality, quality, description, safety, packaging, and fitness of goods they offer. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the suitability of goods before participating in an order. Group admins are responsible for how they manage their private groups and invitations.

4. No guarantee of outcome

Groupped does not guarantee that any group order will meet its target quantity, that any supplier will onboard successfully, that any buyer will join an order, or that any user will make a profit, save money, or achieve any commercial outcome.

5. Platform role and limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groupped and its affiliates, owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for supplier misconduct, buyer defaults, delayed fulfilment, defective goods, third-party payment issues, informal arrangements between users, or losses arising from off-platform dealings.

Groupped is also not responsible for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, to the extent such exclusion is permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Under UK law, exclusions affecting consumers can be limited or unenforceable in some situations.

6. Prohibited products and services

The following items or services are prohibited from being listed, promoted, sold, grouped, or coordinated on Groupped:

  • Swine, pork, pig products, ham, lard, gelatin
  • Alcohol, beer, whiskey, gin, and similar beverages
  • Engraving, prints, lithograph, and similar printed instrument items
  • Financial instruments
  • Sexual or escort services
  • Matrimonial and dating services
  • Gambling, lottery, and sweepstakes

Groupped may remove listings, suspend accounts, refuse onboarding, reverse access, or report activity where prohibited items or unlawful conduct are detected.

7. Suspension and termination

Groupped may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where a user breaches these terms, misuses private groups, lists prohibited items, engages in fraud, chargeback abuse, harassment, or conduct that creates legal or operational risk for the platform or its users.
